The People’s Park Market, Dún Laoghaire
South of Dublin city centre in the seaside town of Dún Laoghaire you can find a bustling weekly Dublin farmers market full of goodies. Open from 11am to 4pm every Sunday in the People’s Park, this market boasts vendors selling a range of food products, from fresh produce to artisanal breads to the famous Arctic Stone hand-rolled ice cream.
This is a weekend hotspot and is best reached taking the southbound DART towards Bray / Greystones and getting off in Dún Laoghaire, or catching the 46a bus. The People’s Park is five minutes’ walk from the stop in Dún Laoghaire. Learn all about the People’s Park Market.

Howth Market
The north side of Dublin’s answer to the Dún Laoghaire markets? Howth Market! Situated in its own beautiful seaside village, Howth Market was established in 2015. Over the years it has grown substantially from a few small stalls to a bustling square with vendors selling freshly baked goods, jewellery, clothing, and more! Highlights include Howth Market Deli, a gem for foodies, and Unique Oak, selling everything from kitchen accessories to handcrafts.
Howth Market runs each weekend from 10am to 6pm and on Bank Holidays, while the street-facing units serve the public seven days’ a week! Howth can be easily accessed from the city centre (Pearse Street station is closest to the campus) on the DART northbound.

Temple Bar Markets
Temple Bar is the beating heart of Dublin. It also has not one, not two, but THREE markets!
The Temple Bar Food Market is in Meeting House and is a paradise for foodies, with cuisines to suit all palettes. Whether you want sweet or savoury, you’re bound to find something that will satiate your craving. It runs every Saturday from 9:30am to 4pm.
Further on, next to City Hall on Barnardo Square, is the Book Market. A haven for bookworms and fans of music, stalls sell new and second-hand book titles, as well as CDs and vinyl records. Taking place on Saturdays from 10:30am to 5pm, it’s not to be missed!
Your last stop is the Designer Mart on Cow’s Lane. This is one for the collectors, with jewellery, knitwear, and antique crafts on sale. If you need a unique gift or cherished keepsake, look no further! This market runs every Saturday between 9:30am and 4pm.

Red Stables Market in St Anne’s Park, Clontarf
The Red Stables in St Anne’s Park was commissioned by Arthur Edward Guinness (sound familiar?) in the 1880s. The building is now a protected structure because of its significant historic and architectural merit. As if this unique complex, housing tea rooms and an arts and crafts centre wasn’t enough of an attraction, the Red Stables Market now run here too!
The market is home an array of food and produce options, as well as other nick nacks. Highlights include a divine crepe van, and chains of some of Dublin’s must-try market stalls, including Japanese at Ramen Co and Hong Kong-style BBQ. Open 10am to 4pm every Saturday in St Anne’s Park, check out The Red Stables Market Instagram page.
Herbert Park Farmer’s Market, Ballsbridge
Just a 10-minute bus journey south of the Trinity campus is Herbert Park, nestled just off the busy main road. It’s a harbour of solitude away from the city’s bustle – and this Dublin farmers market is the ideal spot to refuel while chilling on the grass or walking around the park. Cuisines from all over the world are represented, and you can also get produce and handcrafts from local artisans. There’s even doggy ice cream for our furry friends out there!
